Find a quite place
Matthew 14:23 (NKJV)

And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.

Are you on Twitter? Are you addicted to it? Constantly describing your status in 140 Characters or less and subscribing to others’ updates? Even if you’re not addicted, a lot of people apparently are. Plenty of websites describe the signs of social media addiction and how to recover if you are so afflicted.

Social media sites, texting, email, the internet, twenty four hour news cycles on radio and television, Its almost impossible to find a place to be alone with your own thoughts. And if you do find yourself in a silent place, its only because you turned off or left behind those devices that are designed to keep you occupied with ‘critical” information around the clock.

Find a quite place

The information you receive from God and His word is more important than anything else you might hear. As your Creator and Heavenly Father, God wants to meet with you in a quite place.

Turn off the distractions and meet alone with the Father who waits for you.
