Restoring Australia
When we look at the state of Australia, we can wonder, how did she get so bad, what can we do about it. We might say “what can we do to reverse the evil in our country, is there any hope?”.
Let there be no mistake, evil wants to destroy humanity. Evil almost succeeded once before, but God had to intervene to stop it.
Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and full of violence. And God looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt; for all living creatures on the earth had corrupted their ways. And God looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt; for all living creatures on the earth had corrupted their ways. Then God said to Noah, “The end of all living creatures has come before Me, because through them the earth is full of violence. Now behold, I will destroy both them and the earth.
Genesis 6:11-13
Evil wants to corrupt and destroy, but it is up to us to bring about change, to partner with God to release His power into the earth. We can look and say, it’s gone too far, how can we make a change? We can have those thoughts about any situation in our lives. That is exactly what the enemy wants you to think and dwell on.
We have those thoughts because we are looking with the eyes of the world. We see the evil, we see the spiritual oppression and power of the enemy. We ask, where are you God? Where is you power? Do we ask, where is the power of the Lord to change people’s lives, heal the sick, raise the dead?
A great example of overcoming evil is in the life of David. When David came to the battle field with Goliath standing there, every warrior in the Israelites ranks did not dare to come against him.
Then a champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out from the Philistine camp. He was six cubits and a span in height and he had a bronze helmet on his head. He wore a bronze coat of mail weighing five thousand shekels , and he had armor of bronze on his legs and a javelin of bronze slung between his shoulders. The shaft of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels. In addition, his shield bearer went before him.

Goliath was intimidating to say the least. But David didn’t look at appearances, he wasn’t intimidated by what he saw. Rather, David saw an enemy that was blaspheming his God, something he could not tolerate. Every other warrior eyes in the Israelite’s army were on the giant, David’s was on the Lord.
There are many giants in the world and our lives that need removing. If we focus on the enemy, prowling around like a lion, then we can’t see what the Lord wants us to do.
Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18
If you ask the question “how can we possibly stand against the enemy” you are asking the wrong question. The question you need to ask is ..
“Father God, what are you going to do about this, and, what do you want me to do?”
In asking this we are bring to the attention of the Lord, the problem. Then we are offering ourselves to be a part of the solution.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying: “Whom shall I send? Who will go for Us?” And I said: “Here am I. Send me!”
Isaiah 6:8
In a physical conflict, solders are taught to assess the situation, then focus on what needs to be done. Basically It looks like this…
Identify the enemies strengths (Tunnel Vision or Focused Vision)
Once all capabilities are identified, focus on removing the threat (Peripheral vision)
If we bring this into a spiritual context, first we identify the enemies strong holds and movements.
in order that Satan should not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

Then we inquirer of the Lord, the course of action.
So David inquired of the LORD, “Should I go and attack these Philistines?” And the LORD said to David, “Go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah.”

After the death of Joshua, the Israelites inquired of the LORD, “Who will be the first to go up and fight for us against the Canaanites?” “Judah shall go up,” answered the LORD. “Indeed, I have delivered the land into their hands.”
Judges 1:1-2
Notice that last scripture, who delivered the land into their hands? The Lord God did.
Can this nation be turned around for God? Only under the instruction from the lord.
Is anything impossible for God? No. Why do we act like things are impossible. I’ll tell you why,
: We are not inquiring of the Lord.
: Our focus is on the problem not the solution.
: The western culture has been lulled into apathy, and laziness. Life is too good to bothered with being Kingdom minded.
So what do we need to do, what does that look like?
: Prayer, that is emotional charged by wanting to see real change.
: Prayer, that continues until the answer comes.
: Being Heavenly focus, not earthly.
Being Heavenly focused is a mind shift. Scripture tells us we are not of this world, we are ambassadors from another world. The other world (Heavenly Realm) is far more splendid and spectacular. Nothing in this world compares to it and the Heavenly realm has authority over this physical ream. Let’s start exercising our God given right to bring Heaven to earth. This is the mandate that God gave to Adam. This has not changed.
In bringing Heaven to earth we change the environment. That starts by focusing on the Heavenly realm, not this physical one.
Scripture is full of examples of what Gods Kingdom realm is like. Your homework is to read scripture and see it manifesting around you. Focus on that. Seek the Lord for real change, with a heartfelt and emotional petition to the Lord.
