Contending for the Nations is a prayer movement led by Reverend Gary Hoban through Refinery Life Australia, bringing intercession, biblical training and mission together to strengthen the Church and serve the nations.
Our focus
We are developing relationships and prayer across Southeast Asia and the Pacific, beginning with Indonesia and then Cambodia. We pray for local churches, pastors, Bible colleges, Gospel workers and the people they serve.

Global Prayer Brief
The monthly Global Prayer Brief provides a focus for praying for the nations. The first scheduled issue is 15 November 2026, with subsequent issues published on the 15th of each month at 8:00 am Brisbane time.
