Winning the battle

Winning the battle

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13 NKJV).

When it comes to temptation or hard times we are not alone the Bible tells us that struggle is “common to all man” No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV) this means we all struggle with temptation and sin.

Winning the battle

Thankfully God has given us all the tools we need to stain a victory.

A new law…. Life in Christ.

A guide…. The Holt Spirit.

A guide book…. The Bible.

And guides….. People to seek council from.

To be Winning the battle, We need to be fully equipped each day to withstand the temptations we face. Remember Statements like I can’t no longer a apply to us, in Jesus it’s I CAN as Paul said I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13 NIV).

Give thanks that God has given you everything you need to win the battle over temptation and struggle. When you are tempted ask God to help you remember to say in Christ I can defeat this.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
