Without a doubt God is calling His people back to the fear of the Lord, purifying His ecclesia, calling us into holiness and bringing the lost into His kingdom which He is establishing around the world.
Leading up to this time, God is wanting us to look to Him and not be afraid of what is happening in the world. We are to “trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:3-5 NKJV
During the night of the 16th June 2023 I had a dream:
“I was at a holiday type house near the beach. There were a group of people who I didn’t know but was talking to them as though I did. We were in a room where there were many tables, we were all given new keys and as we approached our table there were locks on top of the table.
No one seemed to be able to use their key in the locks, many got tired, complained, walked away and just mingled together. I stayed at the table trying to figure out how to use the key in the lock. After trying many different ways, I finally figured out how to use the key. I realised we had been using the key the same way as previous keys, but these keys were new and didn’t work the same as before. We had to turn the key a different way for them to work. I went around and told the people what to do to get the key to work.” End of dream.
Interpretation:
Many people are in a place of comfort and are very familiar with their Christian life. The beach represents relaxation, sunshine, and good times. The house speaks of the church; everyone was a Christian hence why I could speak to them when I didn’t actually know them. Throughout the dream no one left the house, it was as if we were ‘contained’ together in the one room.
The tables represent the table of the Lord, a place of fellowship and the provision of the Father. As we come to the table, we each bring a key that will unlock what has been laid out for us by the Lord; Psalm 23:5 “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies”. God Himself has prepared a table for us to partake of. But to take part in the banquet we need first to unlock it with the new keys given to us. This cannot be done via the old way; we are in a new season, a new time in history, and God is pouring out new wine therefore we must not approach what is happening with ‘how we have always done it’. “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; Before they spring forth, I tell you of them.” Isaiah 42:9 NKJV
Many will get tired, frustrated, fed up and walk away as they don’t have the ability, endurance, or stamina to keep trying. Because of this we must encourage one another. This is not a time for us to be comparing ourselves, putting down the body of Christ and/or thinking one church is better than another. We are not to look back at what was except where we can build on what has stood the test of time, the shaking and from it fruitfulness.
It’s a time to be praying for one another, lifting up our spiritual leaders in the house of God and speaking words of life over the body of Christ in love, and as we do, we will make room for God to move and do what He wills, as He shows us His purpose, and we can co-labour with Him in the outworking of what He desires.
There will be those who will persevere and due to this discover how to unlock what the Lord has that will help us in our time of need. I believe that I was representing the prophetic, (we are all called to hear from God) a people who will not give up and by persevering, will be able to go out and let others know what to do so they can use the keys to unlock and partake in the plans, purposes, provision and strategies that God has prepared for them to get through our time of confinement and come out victorious. This is why it is so important that we get alongside of those young in the Lord as they are vulnerable and may feel overlooked and/or forgotten.
Conclusion:
We are living in a time where we must keep our focus on the Lord, as events unfold around us, we must not fear but remain steadfast in our faith. Holy Spirit will guide us and as we hear and obey, He will lead us to victory. In saying that, it may be uncomfortable for a while, letting go of the old is not always easy, but as we do and spend time in His presence and His word, I have no doubt God will speak and show us how to proceed forward with new insights, revelation, wisdom, knowledge and understanding! His grace is always sufficient for us, and we are empowered by His Spirit to go beyond what we can do in our own strength, knowledge and ability.
I am encouraged by this scripture, therefore let me leave this with you and as you seek Him in the quiet place, take heart as Jesus encourages us in John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]” AMP.
