Are You Running Your Race

Are You Running Your Race

Hebrews 12:3 NIV.

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

Are you running with perseverance the race God has marked out for you?

If you are, keep going and consider Jesus who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart!

Are You Running Your Race

Yes, as you run God’s race for you, there may be times when sinners will oppose you endure it like Jesus did! Do not grow weary and lose heart because God is with you. Remember the words of Jesus, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they’re doing.” (Lk.23:34)

That’s right, those who oppose and accuse you know not what they are doing. They do not realise that they may be fighting against God! Remember too, the words of Paul in Eph.6:12, “For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”

Who is your enemy?

The men and the women you see are not your enemies, the devil behind them is your enemy he is the one you are fighting against.

So pray and walk in holiness and as you do so, God arises and His enemies will be scattered (Ps.68:1).

As you begin your walk with God today, do not despair for God is always standing with the righteous. Keep doing what’s right and He will deliver you from evil. In the end, the righteous God will not bless the unrighteous even though for a while they may seem to prosper and have some degree of success.

Be encouraged

Let me end today with one of my favourite passages: “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1Cor.15:58)

Be encouraged and have a great day!

This is very relevant for me today, how about you?
