Prophetic Intercessors for Australia News and Prayer Journal June 2025
The Atmosphere for Miracles is Here.
As the world rapidly unfolds the signs foretold in Matthew 24, wars, famines, and increasing lawlessness, can clearly be seen, the urgency for prophetic intercessors to rise up and prepare the Bride of Christ for the Lord’s return has never been greater.
The Mission of Prophetic Intercessors for Australia
PIFA’s mission is to equip and mobilise the Body of Christ to engage in powerful, targeted intercession that aligns with God’s plans.
As darkness seems to rise globally, the promise of Isaiah 60:1-3 resounds over Australia: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” PIFA envisions the Church stepping into its prophetic identity, manifesting the glory of God, and reaping a great harvest of souls in these final days. By linking intercessors through regional gatherings, national prayer events, and digital platforms, PIFA is creating a united front for revival and transformation. Together, we can fulfil the mandate to prepare the way for the Lord and declare, “Come, Lord Jesus!”
The Atmosphere for Miracles. Amanda Hoban. 8 May 2025
On 7th May 2025 at the weekly PIFA gathering at the Gold Coast House of Prayer, Ps Sue Lavender expounded the Beatitude from Matt. 5:8 Blessed are the PURE IN HEART: for they shall see God.
Following the teaching and corporate prayer time, we were all encouraged to focus on the Lord Jesus and step into a personal encounter with him. As we waited on the Lord, with eyes closed, I saw a light come in, and rest before me, like the spotlight at a theatre show, this light in front of me settled right there and then I felt a deep sense of peace. Its not that I had been troubled, or was without peace, actually I felt quite at peace, prior to this moment. But this peace was next level, this peace was deep and tangible to the senses, I perceived in my inner being this was the perfect peace of the Lord Jesus. As I sunk into this experience with the Lord, I heard the words “this is the atmosphere for miracles”.
The peace of the Lord Jesus is real, and its for everyone of us, HIS PERFECT PEACE.
The next morning, In my time with the Lord in the wee hours, I was reading from Kings 18:16-45
There are miracles, so many miracles in this passage.
Ahab meets up with Elijah and his opening line is “Is that you, you troubler of Israel?” –Ahab is laying false accusation, that’s the work of the deceiver… to kill steal and destroy, Are you in the firing line of false accusation today?
Then Elijah responds, 18 “I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you and your father’s family have. You have abandoned the Lord’s commands and have followed the Baals. 19 Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”
Elijah defends his position as a man of God who knows what is going on. He is not deceived. Are you in a position where you have been persecuted for the sake of Christ, for the faith that is within you? Be encouraged and step into the place of deep peace in the Lord, for this is where the miracles happen. Lets keep going with this passage.
20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. 21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him. “But the people said nothing.
Elijah challenges the people verbally. He is giving them the opportunity to make there position clear, about who they serve. But they do not take up that opportunity. Its like the saying about a dog that has more bark than its bite! Plenty to say, but when the rubber hits the road, nothing!
Let the accuser of the brethren be silenced! Is there anyone in your life with plenty of bark who has got you scared or intimidated? The atmosphere for miracles is being set.
22 Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the Lord’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets. 23 Get two bulls for us. Let Baal’s prophets choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. 24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord. The god who answers by fire—he is God.” Then all the people said, “What you say is good.”
Be willing to put your faith in action. A miracle is about to transpire!
25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.” 26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it.
Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.
27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.
Elijah is clear, his instruction to the false prophets is clear, he is saying OK show me what your God is made of! We all know this is not going to end well for those worshipping the false gods. The same is still true today. Elijah remained steadfast and gave ample opportunity for them to demonstrate the power of their false dead god, he gave them extra time and a bit of provocation, but nothing. Zip, Zero Zilch.
This story is so exciting, we know what comes next, can you feel the anticipation and excitement rising in you? This is an atmosphere for a miracle!
30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.”
Elisha reminded God of His Word. Gods Word never lies. Be encouraged child of God, remember the Word of God for you, your family and your nation. Miracles are coming.
32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs of seed. 33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.”34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again. “Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time. 35 The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.
Elijah made sure, triple sure, that the odds in the natural were against him. water, water, and more water, how on earth was this going to work? Let us be encouraged that what has been building in the spirit is about to burn in the natural. Don’t let the obstacles, the barriers, the accusations detract from the miracle.
36 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37 Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”
38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. 39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”
When the atmosphere for miracles is set, then we can rest in perfect peace that comes from the Lord God himself. God will not be mocked. God will defend His Word. He is the Lord God almighty!
The place where miracles happen is within you, if the Lord is in you then be at peace and wait with anticipation and excitement and see a miracle with your own eyes. Be encouraged by this account of the miraculous, as I have been. THE ATMOSPHERE FOR MIRACLES IS FOR TODAY.
It is now time to ride the wave of the Lord as He moves us into a Season of harvest for the next 7 years.
We, as Prophetic Intercessors for Australia, respond to the call to rise up, in Australia.
The prophetic Word released by Brother Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj at the conclusion of 2024, is the same as what was spoken to Bishop Dan Balais, IFP Chairman in January 2025, “The Day of the Lord is at hand!”
The day of the Lord is an indefinite time set apart by the Lord for something to happen. It is a period of time when the Lord steps in to openly intervene in the affairs of man and invades the natural realm. The day of the Lord is when the Lord takes His sword and cuts the division between the invisible and the invisible realm. A period of Gods visitation and the Day of the Lord is also a time for salvation. We believe it is time to reap what has been sown. Amidst the intense wickedness that continues to invade our society, there is also the call for us all to arise and shine.

Worship in Roma: Transforming Brisbane Through Prophetic Intercession
Last month, Ptr Rommel, Ptra Grace, and the Prophetic Intercessors for Australia (PIFA Brisbane), together with the vibrant Joel 2 Army worship team—Pebbles, Tyrel, Rabin, Joan, Roger, Julla, Aliyah, Marlina, Silpa, Noah, and even the children—gathered at Roma Street Parkland in Brisbane. Our mission was simple but powerful: to worship outdoors and bring the love of Jesus to this city, knowing that the atmosphere could be changed through worship, prayer, and blessing those around us.
—
Stepping Out in Faith: Ptra Grace Chau’s Testimony
I feel that the prophetic outreach activity in this city is very important. Revival in Brisbane will come along with allowing God to break through in our individual lives. As for me, English is not my native language. Although I often pray for others in church, and occasionally share God’s love with my neighbours, I also felt nervous to speak to a stranger in English on the street. Further, based on my identity, I always feel that I am an outsider. I have been in Australia for 5 years, but I have never tried to use English to evangelize strangers here, or even pray for others in this way. But I feel it is very important to practice this often. Not only did it break through my language confidence and the self-limitations of intercultural contact. I also deeply feel that when I try to break through myself and bless people of other nationalities, my faith and spiritual ability begin to increase.
I found that the anointing of boldness and evangelize the Kingdom of God also needs to be started first, and when it starts, the engine accelerates all the way to make us run more smoothly. I saw that at first, I was probably just approaching the people I met, but I felt that once the door of the people was opened, I naturally invited them to receive blessings from my prayer; from praying gently to the beginning, I felt that I was full of ability, and I was no longer afraid to invite other strangers to pray. Just like that, within an hour, I began many active outreaches and sharing in the power of God. Count about 15 people who stopped and were blessed by me. I give God the glory of this little seed of faith! I feel we need to continue making such spiritual breakthroughs until the anointing of bold evangelism is greatly unleashed in this city, and revival is upon us!

The Sound of Worship: Joel 2 Army and the Joy of Public Praise
A highlight of the day was the vibrant worship led by the Joel 2 Army team. The atmosphere was filled with joy as they poured their hearts into worshiping Jesus in public. The team had prepared many songs and joyfully took turns leading worship and playing guitar, keeping the music flowing non-stop.
Noah, a 17-year-old, played the beatbox for two hours straight. After the event, he shared, “I felt so good!”—a simple but profound testimony to the joy that comes from serving God with our gifts. Rabin added, “There is harmony in the air.” That harmony was not just musical, but spiritual—evidence of God’s presence uniting everyone in praise.
—
Worship Drawing the Community Together
As the worship echoed through the park, something remarkable happened. People living in nearby apartment buildings, drawn by the sound of music, came down to listen. Some simply sat and soaked in the atmosphere; others approached, curious and open. Christians from the other side of the park heard the worship and joined us, visibly delighted to see public praise rising in the heart of Brisbane.
Many passersby paused to listen, and we believe each one was touched by the love of the Lord through the worship and prayer. The rest of the team, like Jasmin and I, walked around the park, talked and prayed for those who came. Hearts were open and receptive—God’s Spirit was clearly at work.
“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” —John 12:32

Encounters With the Holy Spirit: Jenny and Ada’s Experiences
Jenny:
· “Throughout the praise and worship at the park, I was led by the Holy Spirit to pray in the spirit almost the whole time.
· At least twice I was led by the Holy Spirit to declare out loud the Kingship of the Lord Jesus Christ over Roma St Parkland, Brisbane city, nation of Australia and the whole world. Jesus is the King of Kings.”
Ada:
· “The presence of the Holy Spirit was very strong at the park especially during praise and worship. The fire of the Holy Spirit came down.
· Holy Spirit led me to do a prayer walk along the park.
· Later, we saw a pillar of cloud hovering between the apartments and the tall bushes. The middle part of the pillar was covered by more cloud. It reminds us that God was in the pillar of cloud leading Israelites out of Egypt during day time. The pillar of cloud symbolizes God is with us.
· God is very pleased with us.”
“For where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” —2 Corinthians 3:17
—
Changing the Atmosphere Through Worship
As we lifted praise and worship in the open air, we sensed the spiritual atmosphere shifting. The Holy Spirit’s presence was unmistakable—bringing peace, boldness, and a sense of God’s pleasure over the park and the city. The prophetic acts, declarations, and prayer walks were not just symbolic; they were acts of faith that invited God’s Kingdom to break in.
—
Seeds of Revival
Our time in Roma Park was a reminder that revival does not always start with large crowds or dramatic miracles. Sometimes, it begins with a small group willing to worship, pray, and bless others in public spaces. Each conversation, each prayer, each declaration is a seed sown in faith—believing that God will water it and bring the increase.
As Ptra Grace shared, “We need to continue making such spiritual breakthroughs until the anointing of bold evangelism is greatly unleashed in this city, and revival is upon us!” May we all be inspired to step out, break through our own limitations, and carry the presence of Jesus wherever we go.
To God be the glory!

www.standtallevent.comStand Tall is a powerful and uplifting event for high school students, designed to bring hope, encouragement, and a renewed sense of purpose to young people facing the increasing pressures of modern life. In a time when mental health challenges, identity struggles, anxiety, and isolation are on the rise among youth, Stand Tall provides a safe and inspiring space where students hear real stories of resilience, courage, and transformation. This year marks our 20th live event, which will take place on Wednesday, 12 June at ICC Sydney. Thousands of students from across the region will come together for a vibrant, high-energy day filled with powerful speakers, artists, and relatable role models.
Although Stand Tall operates under the radar as a Christian organization, all our speakers this year are committed Christians. We believe God is using their authentic, personal stories to plant seeds of hope, healing, and identity in the hearts of every student present—many of whom may be hearing these truths for the first time in a way they can receive.
In recent years, Stand Tall has expanded its reach through:
• A regional tour across NSW in 2022 and 2023,
• Local events in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and Liverpool in 2023, and
• Our first-ever event in Canberra earlier this year.
Now, as we prepare for our 20th Sydney event, we deeply value the partnership of intercessors to cover the day and all preparations in prayer.
As intercessors, your role is vital. We ask you to pray for:
• God’s presence to be at the heart of the event, guiding every detail.
• Protection, peace, and smooth logistics for the team, speakers, volunteers, and attendees
.• Open hearts among the students—that seeds of hope, identity, and healing will be sown.
• Opportunities for long-term impact beyond the event day.
Additional Prayer Points:
• Student Attendance : Pray urgently for more students to register and attend. Pray they would choose to come rather than take the day off school, and that schools would be open and supportive.
• Spiritual Impact: That every story shared would resonate deeply, planting seeds of hope, truth, and transformation in students’ hearts.
• Weather: Pray for good weather, clear, calm, and safe weather on the day. No rain please as students are outside for lunchtime!
• Logistics: For all logistics to flow smoothly and efficiently. All audio visuals are managed to perfection, no hiccups in delivery of sound or lighting.
• Transport: Supernatural favor for traffic flow, quick and safe arrival of buses, and ease for schools traveling to the event.
• Unity in the Team: That the Stand Tall team would work in harmony, with joy and clarity of purpose.
• Supporters & Funders: That they would be deeply impacted by what they see and hear and feel led to sow even more generously into the future.
• Vision for 2025: That this year’s event would lay the strongest foundation yet for an even greater impact in 2025, our best year yet.
• Media Reach: That the event recording and the 7plus highlights version would be viewed by thousands—and that this demonstrated reach would be clear to current and future funders.
• For more Media opportunities prior to the event and coverage on the event day; in newspapers, TV and radio.
• Sponsorship: That a suitable major event sponsor would come forward in alignment with our mission and values.
• Corporate Volunteers: For more meaningful engagement and connection with our corporate volunteers, and opportunities to grow long-term partnerships.
We believe this generation is worth fighting for—and that with God’s help, Stand Tall is playing a vital role in rewriting the story for countless young people.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer.

Redeeming Schools in the Gold Coast.
Strategic Prayer Assignment Update. May 2025Three groups of intercessors led by Ps Abigail Lavis from The Body of Christ Ministry Centre, Gold Coast, Australia, completed a strategic prayer assignment in May 2025.
The instructions from the Lord were to redeem the schools, students, teachers back to the Lord. This assignment took the teams to over 180 schools in the Gold Coast region, including state schools and private schools from kindergarten level, to primary and secondary schools and universities. Geographically the team covered the entire Gold Coast region from Coolangatta to Ormeau and West to Mt Tambourine and Tallebudgera Creek. The Mission was accomplished.
Holy Communion was taken at each location, with the team praying for the land to receive His body and blood, some of the juice representing the blood was deposited on each site as a stake in the ground.
The schools were claimed back for the Lord.
We pray the Lord will call others from every City, Town and Local Government Area to take up the baton and carry on this redemptive work, done in faith, so that every Australian school and the land that it is built on is redeemed back to the Lord.
Since May, Pastor Abigail has engaged a team in Perth to carry on with this assignment to the 800 plus schools in Perth.
According to the Australian School’s List, provided by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, there are 10,868 schools in Australia.
The list was last updated on 13 February 2025.

Ps Rod St Hill, May 24, 2025
Ideas matter. Western civilisation certainly drew from Greek and Roman philosophies and practices, but the most important foundation of the West is actually the idea that God created us and loves us – every single one of us. It seems to me that it took a long time for the Christian influence to flow to all spheres of human life and that the abolition of slavery was probably the high point of the West. That only happened in the nineteenth century. In 1833, the Slavery Abolition Act was passed in the UK and over 800,000 enslaved people in British colonies were freed. The Thirteenth Amendment to the US Constitution was passed in 1865. And it was only in the late nineteenth century that public toilets for women were first built. Women could hardly take part in public life until then.
At the same time there were forces of evil emerging that would eventually morph into the sexual revolution, cultural Marxism, and its close relative, critical theory. These seek to destroy the church and the family – both God’s idea.
What can we do about the impending demise of Western civilisation? We can push back for sure and we see that in President Trump’s administration, in the rise of the Reform UK party in the United Kingdom, the election of Fratelli d’Italia (Brothers of Italy), led by Giorgia Meloni, and so on. Push back is good, but it does not change ideas. The ideas persist in politics and academe.
The Bible teaches that we can combat bad ideas through prayer. Read this powerful statement:
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, New King James Version).
Here is the same passage from The New Living Translation:
We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
The context of this passage was Paul’s battle against bad ideas infiltrating the church in Corinth but I believe firmly that it has application today.
What are these mighty weapons? I reckon they are the Bible and prayer (see Ephesians 6:16-17). We can defeat these bad ideas through the Word of God and prayer. Moreover, I believe we are called to declare God’s Word and to prayer fervently against the bad ideas that are driving the demise of Western civilisation. It is an intensely spiritual battle that requires an intensely spiritual response.
Prophetic Intercessors for Australia: HOPE 25
What is the Lord leading us to accomplish for Year 2025?
HOPE 25 was one of the main things the Lord had placed on the Vision Keepers hearts. This is a mandate to raise 25 Houses of Prayer Everywhere this year, 2025. This also requires 25 Spirit Filled Coordinators to facilitate 25 Houses of Prayer.
The Lord also impressed that Teaching and Training needs to be completed: to facilitate this the Journey Track will be used as a tool to raise and train Prophetic Intercessors. In May the PIFA Coordinators will meet again, the purpose is to advance the PIFA Vision given by the Lord and encourage them. As well as how to encourage prayer groups to have their own prayer initiatives and details of their meeting location and dates.
The goal of HOPE 25 is a lofty one but it is exciting to announce that as of the end of May 2025 there are already 10 HOPE, let’s keep praying for a minimum of 15 more to emerge over the coming months.
HOPE 25 (2025) Strategy
Vision: To raise and link 25 Houses of Prayer (HOPE) across Australia, equipping intercessors to prophetically pray for national revival, transformation, and the fulfillment of God’s plans as we prepare for the second coming of Christ.
Mission: To establish prayer groups rooted in prophetic intercession, focusing on equipping believers, mobilising intercessors, and networking prayer communities for unified impact. |
