Goals can help in a lot of ways, goals can give definition – they can turn dreams into reality. Goals give focus – they show you where and how to spend your time. Goals motivate – they give you something to aim for and when things get tough prod you forward. Goals can help you make decisions – they equip you to make the best decisions on how to spend your time, money, and energy. And goals help you have an impact – when you achieve them, you will have grow as a person and others will benefit from your efforts. So set some goals and become the type of person that makes a difference!
Paul wore to the Philippians saying.
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14 NIV)
I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
