Pray Boldly

Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV)

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Pray Boldly

Phone calls used to be routed by operators who manually connected circuits at a switchboard, plugging in and unplugging wires all day to keep conversations going. Today, think about how many millions of calls are handled by computerised routers every second of the day. Better yet, imagine how many countless prayer “calls” God receives every moment from all over the world.

It would be easy to be discouraged from praying by thinking of our individual prayer requests getting lost amongst the millions God hears. Yet we are exhorted to let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6-8 NKJV)  and to do so boldly (Hebrews 4:16). King David did (many times), and so did the apostle Paul , the same request three different times. And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. (2 Corinthians 12:7-8)

Pray Boldly

Neither King David or Paul felt bad or guilty for continually asking God for help, and nor should we. In fact, not to pray is to portray God as less than He is, a generous Father (Luke 11:11-13).

If you are in a stressful place today, stop now and tell God Pray Boldly. Because ultimately He is the answer to our prayers, meeting with Him is the beginning of your answer.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!

You’re important to God, and you’re important to us at www.faithministries.com.au. When it comes to prayer, we believe that God wants to meet your needs and reveal His promises to you.
