Now I Understand

2 Timothy 4:5 (NKJV)

But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Now I Understand

We have all had contact with disruptive technology, an unexpected product or service that disrupts an existing market and helps create a new category of customers.

Examples of disruptive technologies that my generation have lived through include desktop publishing, CD’s and DVD’s, computers, mobile phones, and social media. Disruptive technologies are normally resisted at first and then accepted because of their benefits and efficiencies.

God allows disruptive moments in our lives that we almost always question or resist because they are painful, unanticipated, misunderstood, and often not optional. Yet in hindsight, they are always embraced for the good or blessing that results. In the Old Testament, Job is the classic example of a life being disrupted, while Paul’s thorn in the flesh (2 Corinthians 12:7-10) is an obvious New Testament example.

Now I Understand

If God has allowed a disruptive moment in your life, walk through it by faith rather than sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!

You’re important to God, and you’re important to us at www.faithministries.com.au. When it comes to prayer, we believe that God wants to meet your needs and reveal His promises to you.
