II. THIS GENERATION MUST KNOW THEIR IDENTITY AND DESTINY IN THESE EXCITING END-TIMES
WHO ARE YOU IN CHRIST and the MISSION that God has given you on earth
Before you can move in the fullness of God’s power, you need to know who you are in Christ and the mission that God has given you here on earth. You are:
A CHILD OF GOD who can become a MATURED SON OF GOD – “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12) We care children of the Most High God, not just servants. God is our Father – a Loving, Good, Holy and Almighty Father at that. But, by your continuous submission and obedience to God, you can become a matured SON OF GOD whom the whole creation has been waiting for to manifest the love, glory and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
WHO CAME FROM GOD – You came from heaven; you were sent from heaven by God. You didn’t start to exist when your mother conceived you. You existed a lot longer than that. Before this world existed, you’ve existed.
You’ve been chosen among the sons of the kingdom to come to earth in the greatest time in the history of God’s purposes for man on earth.
WITH A SPECIAL MISSION HERE ON EARTH – You could have been born during the Middle Ages, but God sent you to earth at such a time as this. You’ve been given the privilege of coming to earth at the greatest time of God’s purposes and plans on the earth of the whole of history.
You are SPECIAL ONES, CHOSEN ONES, SENT ONES into the kingdom for such a time as this. You are here on earth now for a special purpose and plan of God which even the olden prophets and saints ‘envy.’ The whole of heaven is watching and cheering us on to do mighty exploits for the glory of God and for His End-times purposes before the Lord Jesus returns to establish His kingdom in the Millenium.
WHAT IS GOD’S PURPOSE FOR MAN HERE ON EARTH? – TO BRING HEAVEN TO EARTH
You were given a mission, a purpose to fulfill here
You are here on a mission. Through the cross of Jesus, you entered into the Kingdom of God and as a SON OF GOD, your mission is:
- TO BRING MANY PEOPLE TO THE SAVING KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST through the preaching of the gospel of salvation;
- TO PREPARE THE WAY TO BRING BACK THE KING, the Lord Jesus Christ, through the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom;
- TO RETAKE PLANET EARTH WITH THE LORD JESUS & BRING HEAVEN TO EARTH.
The gospel of salvation and the kingdom must be preached; the unsaved given hope and direction.
The gospel of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ must be preached so that the unsaved people of the world can be saved. It is not God’s will that anyone will perish in hell (2 Peter 3:9), but that everyone come to repentance. God wants to fill heaven with people, and He said that there will be more people in heaven than in hell. He desires for us to be zealous to preach the gospel of salvation to as many people as we can before the terrible judgments and calamities come where many people will die in the wars, terrible diseases, earthquakes, tsunamis, famine, from wild beasts, nuclear bombs, comets, solar flares, etc.
It is time to take the church out into the market place – where you live, work, where you go to school. The unsaved do not come to church. The Church, when it is gathered together, should be a time of prayer and equipping in order to prepare the people to take Christ into the world. We must go to them where they are, share the love of God and preach the gospel to them. This is the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus to all His followers and disciples, to preach the Good News of salvation in Christ Jesus and make disciples (of the Lord Jesus) out of them. (Matthew 28:19-20)
But preaching the gospel of salvation is not enough. God wants us to preach the gospel of the kingdom to prepare the way for His Second Coming to finally establish His kingdom on earth with the saints. Before the Lord will return, Matthew 24:14 must first be fulfilled.
Matthew 24:14 And this GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
What is the ‘gospel of the kingdom’?
The gospel of the kingdom is the good news of the coming literal kingdom of God on earth, the rulership of God on the earth, which is a kingdom of righteousness, justice, love, equality, joy, peace. The Kingdom of God is God’s rule in heaven, in earth and throughout the entire universe. Jesus is coming again soon, to set up His kingdom on this earth. This generation needs to know this. It is time for the kingdom of God to be preached. Only then can the end come.
Jesus constantly emphasised the coming Kingdom of God. The gospel of the kingdom is not just rulership of the Lord Jesus and His saints over the earth, but the rulership of God in the lives of each believer. Today much of what we teach is what we can get out of the gospel: peace joy, provision, healing, prosperity etc. But Jesus said, “TAKE UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME.” In order to find life, you have to lose your life. ‘Unless a corn of wheat falls into the ground and die it abides alone.’ Often the gospel is presented in reverse, come to Jesus and receive all of these blessing. But Jesus said, ‘Seek FIRST the Kingdom God and all these other things will be added.’ (Matthew 6:33) ‘Unless you forsake all you cannot be my disciple.’ (Luke 14:26-27)
Judgments in these End-times will prepare the hearts of the people for the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom of God
WHY JUDGMENTS?
- Some of it is sowing and reaping. All the evil that man has sown will be reaped in judgment.
- Some of it is because of sin that the world and the Church are in; a lot of it is that.
- So that people will learn righteousness because of the fearful judgments. We need to remember that God’s judgments are redemptive, to save and not to destroy if only men will repent of their wicked ways. So we need to pray that people’s hearts will be touched and enlightened by the Holy Spirit, repent and surrender their lives to God and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
- The scene is going to be set amidst the terrible judgments to preach the gospel of the kingdom and say, ‘There’s a new world coming.’ To prove this, we’re going to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, do supernatural things and mighty miracles in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Only when we preach the right message, the gospel of the kingdom, will God validate the message with signs following. We need to preach the right message.
We’ve got to give the people, the unsaved hope. People, especially the youth, have disillusionment.
The planet is falling apart – in sin, despair, chaos, economic woes, famine, calamities, etc. The world is in a mess. The good news of the gospel of the kingdom must be preached with accompanying signs and wonders.
You give people hope, and they will flock to you. We’ve got the message of hope in a world that is becoming more and more hopeless – the hope of a new and stunning world like never we have conceived of. Heaven is real and God wants to bring it to earth.
III. RETAKING PLANET EARTH TO BRING HEAVEN TO EARTH
Who is going to control the planet?
This is what this next phase is about. Is it going to be the anti-Christ, or is it going to be the Church?
There’s a whole clash of darkness in that whole area. Our task is TO BRING HEAVEN TO EARTH, not just to bring people to heaven. It has always been God’s intention to bring heaven to earth. Revelation 21:2
God’s desire is to tabernacle with men, and He will. Deuteronomy 11:21, that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.
This is the beginning of God extending out through this universe.
That was Adam’s task (he knew what heaven is like), and that is our task too, fulfill what Adam failed to accomplish. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DEMONSTRATE THE ATTRIBUTES OF HEAVEN THROUGH OUR LIFE INTO THIS EARTH. Your life, what you do, what you are and who you are is supposed to show this world what heaven is like. That is our purpose here on earth as sons of the kingdom. And in the End-times that’s going to be fulfilled by His power through the Church.
But Satan will greatly oppose this. The Bible tells us that before Adam was on earth, Lucifer (Satan) had dominion over the earth. When God created man, He gave him the earth, and Satan has not gotten over that. It used to be his. God created man, a completely new species in the universe, nothing like it in the universe. He was man – part spirit, part flesh, and given the earth to rule over. (Genesis 1:26) That was man’s first assignment – TO BRING HEAVEN TO EARTH –
‘Let My children fill the earth. Let it be like heaven.’ And Lucifer was thinking, ‘I’m not going to let his happen; the earth was mine.’ And we know the story; Adam and Eve were tempted by Lucifer in the garden, fell into sin, disobeyed God and unwittingly handed over authority of the earth to Satan.
But God’s plan never changed. We are just in a 6000-yr glitch which in eternity is only 6 days, not a long time to God. ‘THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.’
(Matthew 6:10) Part of the plan is for the qualities & attributes of heaven to be brought to this earth and established.

But the thing is IF THE QUALITIES OF HEAVEN ARE NOT ESTABLISHED WITHIN YOU, YOU CANNOT ESTABLISH THEM OUTSIDE OF YOU. You need to have them – love, joy, peace, gentleness, the fruit of the Spirit, and the standards of heaven. If they are not made real within you, you cannot bring it to earth; you cannot establish it in this earth. If you are going to build a New Paradise called the Millenium, you’ve got to have paradise already in you.
You know, when a human being comes to this earth, in his spirit are all the standards and qualities of heaven; it’s called conscience, and when you cross that line, your conscience objects to it, ‘That’s not what heaven is like; that’s not what we did in heaven.’ That’s your conscience; every man has that. But man’s conscience has been seared by sin. We need to bring our conscience to heaven’s standards, qualities and ways so that we can bring heaven to earth.
THAT IS WHY GOD SENDS TRIALS IN OUR LIFE. Trials on earth are hard enough to prepare and mold us as sons of the kingdom. Problems, difficulties, failures, injustices – that’s the School of Learning so that we can be conformed, partakers of the image of the Lord Jesus (His heart, mind, nature, ways) – to manifest Him to this world. God desires for us to be overcomers of problems, instead of murmuring and complaining. It’s not what we do for God, not ministry. It’s who you are, what kind of a person you are.
Are you a reflection of the Lord Jesus?
We are AMBASSADORS FOR GOD, representing His laws, nature,His kingdom philosophies of righteousness, justice and mercy.

THERE IS A SHIFT TAKING PLACE NOW FROM THE CHURCH AGE TO THE KINGDOM AGE. Long before the Church or any human being was on the earth, long before the earth came into existence, there was a vast kingdom of God in the universe with multitudes of beings. It’s not just us; there is a bigger picture, and the Church Age is a tiny little glitch in the eternal timeline of God’s purposes. The Church is important, but we need to get a bigger eternal perspective here.
WE NEED TO HAVE A KINGDOM MENTALITY – build first the Kingdom of God before our local churches. If you build first the kingdom of God, God will build your local church. This is primarily a mindset, a new paradigm that we must make a shift to; it is an attitude, a new way of life and thinking.
We are now transitioning from the Church Age to the Kingdom Age. May we be Kingdom Builders and not Empire (your own church) Builders.
We’ve got to tell the believers what is coming. Sure there are judgments, but there’s a New World coming. There’s coming a flow of people being raised from the dead to validate the message of the gospel of the coming kingdom of God – resurrected bodies, the New Creation Man, a new species with bodies of light. It will be a glorious new world with the God of love and righteousness ruling together with His Bondservants. We’ve got to get it right. This is the only time we’ve got left.
God, with His saints, is about to retake planet earth from Satan and his cohorts. He will finally establish His kingdom, of righteousness, justice and mercy on earth and start His reign in the Millenium.
Our FINAL MISSION, after preaching the gospel of salvation and the gospel of the coming kingdom of God, is TO RETAKE PLANET EARTH AND BRING HEAVEN TO EARTH.
