Good News

Good News
Luke 2:8-10 (NKJV)

Glory in the Highest
8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And [a]behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

The dark skies of that Middle Eastern night  gave no hint of the explosion of light that was about to take place. As the watchful shepherds relaxed, the silence was interrupted with the occasional bleating of their flocks. An extraordinary God had chosen these shepherds on this night to observe His magnificent glory! God broke through simple circumstances with a fantastic display of unimaginable brilliance, direct from heaven.
