Do Good to all

Do Good to all

Galatians 6:10 (NKJV)

10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

God created the church for us to work together bring others to Him, to reach out, and to serve the world as no other group will. Some say the church can be compared to a hospital because sick people go there to get better. Jesus would agree, When the Pharisees asked why Jesus ate with sinners, He told them When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.” Matthew 9:12 (NKJV)

A Hospital is a place where you can go to receive medical cardiff necessary. When we go to a hospital for surgery, its because there is no other way to correct our condition. The lost are in need of spiritual surgery. They need to meet the Great Physician and allow Him to restore them to spiritual health and vitality.

When Paul encourages us to “do good to all” it is a reminder that our “hospital” is open for healing. We need to remember to care for those in our church as well as those we are trying to reach for Christ.
