Ambition

Ambition can be both positive and negative, an example of the negative is when people have clawed and scratched their way to the top and, in the process left their claw marks on the backs of the people they have climbed over to reach their goal.
That’s not the kind of ambition Christians should have. We are to have a Godly ambition, meaning a desire to serve the Lord and focus on fulfilling His will.
God’s type of man strives solely for the glory of God and the good of others. My belief is this is what Paul had in mind when he said Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ NIV). Let’s all follow Paul’s example by bringing our ambition in line with God’s will.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!

You’re important to God, and you’re important to us at www.faithministries.com.au. When it comes to prayer, we believe that God wants to meet your needs and reveal His promises to you.
