Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Romans 12:3 (NKJV)

The apostle Paul tells us to view ourselves and the success of our lives in light of the “measure of Faith” God has allotted us. What is your “measure of faith”? According to Paul, it is the spiritual gifts God has given you, and they have one purpose only, too build upHis body. The Church of Jesus Christ.

When it comes to measuring our achievements, there may be times when we are tempted to feel pretty good about ourselves. we may momentarily believe that we have special value to the church.

each of us is indeed valuable! But the apostle Paul reminds us repeatedly that if we boasting anything, it is to be the Lord and all that He has done in our lives. That includes our giftedness, our proficiency, and our good works. pride has no place in the Christian’s life. With a humble heart, recognise the gifts God has given you, and put aside any temptation toward conceit or pride.
