God the Father — The One Who Never Changes
Jesus Christ is The Chosen One, the Redeemer, the Son of God
The one who died on the cross for mankind to be reconciled to the great I Am.
Exodus 3:14-15 (NKJV)
14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.’” 15 Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’
Often we fail to acknowledge how great God is. He cares for His creation and has set in concrete a blessing for those who choose to believe and trust in Him.
Blindness to the greatness of God, makes us live like orphans, living a life with no one to depend on.
I remember when I lost my carnal father at the young age of 21 yrs old, that I began to realise that our father in heaven is and will always be a loving Father who cares and provides if we dare to trust in Him.
Isaiah 52:5-7 (NKJV)
5 Now therefore, what have I here,” says the LORD,
“That My people are taken away for nothing?
Those who rule over them
Make them wail,” says the LORD,
“And My name is blasphemed continually every day.
6 Therefore My people shall know My name;
Therefore they shall know in that day
That I am He who speaks:
‘Behold, it is I.’”
7 How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”

Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking
(Luke 11:9–13)
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! 12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
We all need to learn to lean on the promises of God.

If this is you, then it’s time to reflect on our standards of life that we demonstrate.
The word of God says we are all children of God.
1 John 3:1-3 (NKJV)
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
Romans 8:12-17 (NKJV)
Sonship Through the Spirit
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
Galatians 3:26-29 (NKJV)
Sons and Heirs
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
The lesson to learn right now despite of the difficulties we go through in life is that we must wholeheartedly trust in the great
I Am.
Proverbs 3:5-8 (NKJV)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
8 It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones.
Are we all leaning towards the promise of God.
When God speaks even the dead bones come to life.
Ezekiel 37:1-14 (NKJV)
The Dry Bones Live
1 The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.”
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.”’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.’”
What dry place in your life are you believing God to restore
Prophesy to your dry bones
If We learn something today, found something today that did not work in our lives ….. then,
How about letting God show us what does work
Either East or west, home is best
But the Big question ? Is our home resting in the presence of God.
How far has our hearts really drifted from God.
Do we know that pride locks the
Door of our hearts.
Love is the key that unlocks our heart to get closer to God
All of what I am saying now, you already know but somehow it has faded in the annals of time.
The I Am had kept us from falling when we thought we can survive on our own merits.
Absence of God in our day to day activities, does not give us freedom, it makes us orphans.
Again I will ask:
WHO ARE WE TRUSTING?
Every day we put our trust in something.
We trust our cars to start.
We trust doctors with our health.
We trust people with our promises.
We trust banks with our money.
But all of these things can fail.
People can disappoint us.
Money can disappear.
Our strength can become weak.
Circumstances can change.
But there is One who does not change.
God said, “I AM THAT I AM.”
God wasn’t saying, “I was.”
He wasn’t saying, “I might be.”
He wasn’t saying, “I will become.”
He said:
“I AM.”
That means God is eternally God.
When Moses asked who he should tell Israel had sent him, God gave him His name:
Exodus 3:14 — “I AM THAT I AM.”
The message for us today is simple:
When everything around you is uncertain, trust the One who never changes.
1. TRUST THE “I AM” BECAUSE GOD IS WHO HE SAYS HE IS
The first foundation of trust is knowing who God is.
God doesn’t need to become greater.
He doesn’t need to improve.
He doesn’t need to change.
He simply is.
Malachi 3:6-7 (NKJV)
6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
7 Yet from the days of your fathers
You have gone away from My ordinances
And have not kept them.
Return to Me, and I will return to you,”
Says the LORD of hosts.
“But you said,
‘In what way shall we return?’
People change.
Circumstances change.
Our emotions change.
But God does not change.
Hebrews 13:8-9 (NKJV)
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.
Although this verse speaks specifically of Christ, it reveals the unchanging character of God.
God was faithful yesterday.
God is faithful today.
God will be faithful tomorrow.
Your circumstances may change, but God’s character doesn’t.

Think about Abraham
God made Abraham a promise.
Years passed.
The circumstances looked impossible.
But Abraham had to learn something:
God’s promise is greater than the circumstances surrounding the promise.
Romans 4:20-21 (NKJV)
20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
That is trust.
Trust doesn’t mean you understand everything.
Trust means:
“I know God, and I know He is able.”

2. TRUST THE “I AM” WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT IS AHEAD
One of the hardest things about trusting God is that we don’t know the future.
We want God to show us the whole road.
But God often gives us the next step, not the whole journey.
Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart…”
Notice what Scripture doesn’t say.
It doesn’t say:
“Understand everything with all your heart.”
It says:
“Trust.”
There will be times when you don’t understand what God is doing.
There will be times when you pray and don’t immediately see an answer.
There will be times when the door you expected to open closes.
There will be times when you ask:
“God, why?”
And sometimes God doesn’t immediately give us the explanation.
But He gives us Himself.
The presence of God is greater than an explanation from God.

Abraham had to walk by faith
Hebrews 11:8 — “By faith Abraham… obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.”
Abraham didn’t know where he was going.
But he knew who was leading him.
That’s the difference between faith and human understanding.
You may not know:
- What tomorrow holds.
- How the situation will work out.
- Where the provision will come from.
- How the problem will be solved.
But you can know:
“The I AM is with you “

3. TRUST THE “I AM” WHEN YOU FACE THE IMPOSSIBLE
Moses stood before the Red Sea.
Behind him was Pharaoh’s army.
In front of him was an impossible obstacle.
The people cried out. But Moses said:
Exodus 14:13 — “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD…”
Humanly speaking, there was no way out.
But God had a way.
The Red Sea wasn’t a problem for the I AM.
What is impossible for us is not impossible for God.
Luke 18:27 — “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
We sometimes look at our circumstances and say:
“There’s no way.”
But faith says:
“There may be no way that I can see, but God is still God.”

David and Goliath
Goliath looked at David and saw a boy.
David looked at Goliath and saw an opportunity for God to demonstrate His power.
1 Samuel 17:45 — “Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts…”
David’s confidence wasn’t in his size.
It wasn’t in his experience.
It wasn’t even in his weapon.
David’s trust was in God.
That’s where our confidence must be.

4. TRUST THE “I AM” BECAUSE HE IS OUR FATHER
God isn’t simply powerful.
God isn’t simply Creator.
For those who belong to Him, He is Father.
Matthew 6:31–32 — “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? … for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”
Jesus teaches us that our Father knows what we need.
Before you ask, He knows.
Before you understand the situation, He knows.
Before you see the answer, He knows.

The Father cares for His children
Jesus said:
Matthew 7:11 — “How much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”
Think about that phrase:
“Your Father.”
You are not dealing with a distant God who doesn’t care.
You are trusting a Father who knows you.
Psalm 103:13 — “Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.”
God sees our tears.
God sees our struggles.
God knows our needs.
God knows the battles we don’t tell anybody about.

5. TRUST THE “I AM” EVEN IN THE STORM
The disciples learned this lesson in a boat.
Mark 4:37–39
A storm arose.
The waves were filling the ship.
The disciples became afraid.
Yet Jesus was with them.
They asked:
Mark 4:38 — “Master, carest thou not that we perish?”
Have you ever felt like that?
“God, don’t You care?”
Sometimes the storm makes us question God’s presence.
But notice:
Jesus was in the boat.
The presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God.
Let me say that again:
A storm does not mean God has abandoned you.
Jesus stood and rebuked the wind and said:
Mark 4:39 — “Peace, be still.”
And the wind ceased.
The disciples then asked:
Mark 4:41 — “What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
The storm revealed something about Jesus.
Sometimes the storm you’re going through will reveal something about the God you serve.

6. TRUST THE “I AM” WHEN YOU ARE AFRAID
Fear says:
“What if?”
Faith says:
“God is.”
Fear says:
“What if everything goes wrong?”
Faith says:
“The Lord is still with me.”
Psalm 56:3 — “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”
Notice David didn’t say:
“I will never be afraid.”
He said:
“When I am afraid, I will trust in You.”
Faith doesn’t mean you never feel fear.
Faith means fear does not get the final word.
Psalm 23:4 — “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me…”
The confidence of David was not:
“I will never walk through the valley.”
His confidence was:
“Thou art with me.”

7. THE “I AM” IS ENOUGH
Moses asked:
Exodus 3:13 — “Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me…”
Moses wondered what name he should give them.
God answered:
Exodus 3:14 — “I AM THAT I AM.”
God was revealing Himself as the eternal, self-existent God.
And throughout Scripture we see God reveal Himself as the One who provides what His people need.
He is our Provider.
Genesis 22:14 — “The LORD will provide.”
He is our Shepherd.
Psalm 23:1 — “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
He is our Strength.
Psalm 28:7 — “The LORD is my strength and my shield…”
He is our Refuge.
Psalm 46:1 — “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
He is our Peace.
Isaiah 26:3 — “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
Whatever you face, God is enough.

CONCLUSION — PUT YOUR TRUST IN THE I AM
Today we have looked at one great truth:
Trust in the “I AM.”
When you don’t know what tomorrow holds—
Trust the I AM.
When you face an impossible situation—
Trust the I AM.
When you’re afraid—
Trust the I AM.
When you’re walking through the storm—
Trust the I AM.
When you don’t understand—
Trust the I AM.
When you cannot see the answer—
Trust the I AM.
Because God doesn’t change.
Psalm 9:10 — “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.”
Notice the connection:
Know His name → Trust His character → Rest in His faithfulness.

CLOSING CHALLENGE
“What are you trusting today?”
Are you trusting your own strength?
Your finances?
Your experience?
Other people?
Your ability to control the situation?
Or are you trusting the I AM?
Jeremiah 17:7 — “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.”
Your circumstances may change.
Your feelings may change.
People may change.
But God remains God.
The I AM was there yesterday.
The I AM is here today.
The I AM will be there tomorrow.
So lift your eyes above the circumstances and say:
“I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know WHO holds tomorrow.”
And therefore:
I WILL TRUST THE I AM.
Don’t weaken yourself with suspicion.
Bind the mind of suspicion when it comes
Cowardliness and suspicion can shatter your family
Don’t be obsessed against prophecy spoken against your life.
Be free indeed for the I Am has liberated you from the curse of the law.
Don’t buy into the lies of the
Enemy.
You are the sons & daughters of the I Am.
We are about to enter into God’s domain with our transformed bodies.
But if you listen to the devil, he will strip away your immortal to come.
In a twinkling of an eye you will be change from mortal to immortal
Suspicion and fear are the chains that bind us again.
Mercy is wasted on those with malice in their hearts.
Final Scripture
Psalm 37:5 — “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
