Prayer Assignment in Coffs Harbour, NSW.

Prayer Assignment in Coffs Harbour, NSW.

February 2026

Pastor Amanda Hoban

In February the warfare team of intercessors led by Pastor Abigail Lavis completed a strategic prayer assignment in Coffs Harbour, NSW in preparation for the upcoming STAND TALL event on the 4th and 5th of March in Coffs Harbour.

STAND TALL IS AUSTRALIA’S LARGEST YOUTH WELLBEING EVENT.

The aim of Stand Tall is to share a message of hope with young Australians through promoting positive role models and facilitating important conversation about mental health through a christian lens. One of our core mandates as Prophetic Intercessors for Australia is ‘Trumpeting of the Great Commission’, therefore we are committed to pray for the young generation to come to faith in the Lord Jesus and support the work of Stand Tall in prayer.

The organisers are thrilled to bring Stand Tall to Coffs Harbour for the first time! Held at the C.ex Coffs, they are expecting over 1500 high school students in attendance across 2 days, this event will feature a line up of inspirational speakers, including Duku Fore, Leila Abdallah, James Chapman, Grace Rowe, Michael Crossland, all christians and creative performances & some fun thrown in.

Stand Tall was formed in 2012 by three mothers, Angela Farr-Jones, Jeanine Treharne & Ros Hills in response to the alarming statistics of mental ill-health amongst the next generation. Young people now face many challenges including social media, bullying, peer pressure, drinking, drugs, partying, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. As a suicide prevention accredited charity, Stand Tall aim to address these topics through inspirational stories of overcoming adversity and challenge, finding purpose and self belief, and caring for others.

Stand Tall consistently hosts events in Sydney for over 6,000 students, and has also embarked on Regional Tours to Dubbo, Pambula and Tamworth for over 9,000 students. Smaller events have taken place in Liverpool, Newcastle and Shell Harbour.

The strategic prayer assignment took the team of intercessors to several locations in New South Wales and in the town of Coffs Harbour to pray and engage in spiritual warfare. Key locations and high places to be addressed were identified through research, mapping and through the direction of the Holy Spirit. This assignment also took the team to schools in the town. Holy Communion was taken at each location, with the team praying for the land to receive His body and blood, some of the juice representing the blood was deposited on each site as a stake in the ground.

The schools were claimed back for the Lord. The town prepared. Now we pray in great expectation.

Ephesians 3:20  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.

When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.

Theres nothing thats too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!

You’re important to God, and you’re important to us at The Refinery.

When it comes to prayer, we believe that God wants to meet your needs and reveal His promises to you.

So whatever you’re concerned about and need prayer for we want to be here for you! Or even if you just want to say Hi, you can contact us at www.refinerylife.org

2026 WILL BE A TIME OF WARFARE.
