Why Do The Nations Rage

Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together, against the LORD and against His Anointed One: – Psalm 2:1-2 (Acts 4:26-27)

There is more evil on the earth than there has ever been since the time of Noah. It’s in your city, town, and neighbourhood. It’s on your doorstep! Why and who is behind all this? Well, you and I both know, it is a spiritual power manifesting in a physical world. The deceiver of the whole world (Revelation 12:9) is the who, and he rages against the one true God. Using anybody who will believe his lies. Why?, he wants to kill the human race because the human race is made in His (God the creator) image and likeness (Genesis 1:26).

As we are at the end of the age, this plot against God is never more present than now. Psalm 2 describes the battle. A lead up to it, that’s not only in our future, but has been in preparation for 4000 years since this scripture was penned. You are here at this time, to be a part of the final battle here on Earth. Earth, the centre of a cosmic battle that has been raging for 6000 years of human history.

Read and meditate on Psalm 2, and then read Revelation 16, which is the future conclusion of it. You are part of the generation that will witness it. We should know what is coming and how to prepare for it.

What Do We Do
Why do we come under so much attack? Because you emanate light, and our enemy hides in darkness. That being the case, you might as well stand up and become a hindrance to the darkness. You are called to be a light on a hill, and darkness will flee the light. You are called to be a light in your city, town, neighbourhood, and your street. Where does this battle begin for you? We push the darkness back in our spheres of influence , then your neighbourhood, then your town, then your city, and then your nation.

This is about bringing the Kingdom of God to earth and it starts with you. We manifest the Kingdom of God around us, through connecting with the Kingdom. There is a spirit principle “what you focus on, you connect with”. It does not matter whether it is good or evil, you will connect with it and it will surround you. This principle then tells us how to connect with the Kingdom of God – focus on it. Not just once or twice a day, but continually. It is all too easy to forget what we can’t see, and Gods Kingdom is invisible. Jesus is invisible. Therefore it takes effort and daily practice for it to become habitual. “Habitual” is not a dirty word, we need to become disciplined and form positive habits. Habits that bring the Kingdom of God into our world.

But first, we need to go to the His Kingdom.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. – James 4:8

A really good analogy of this scripture is two magnets. They ether repel one another or draw together. When two magnets are attracted to one another, the closer they get, the faster they come together. The easier it becomes to push them together. God it like this, we need to come to Him, and when we do, the easier it is to come to Him. Until we become one with Him. This scripture highlights our action, draw near to Him (FIRST). The close we come to Him the more the Kingdom manifest around us. The more the kingdom manifest around us, the greater impact we have on this world.

The Kings Of The Earth
This brings me back to the opening scripture, Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together, against the LORD and against His Anointed One. – Psalm 2:1-2.

We need to make a stand against our enemy in this country. We do that by manifesting His Kingdom, His power, His Spirit. Then the people see the one true God that can save them. There is no power that can stop God. Start manifesting the Kingdom of God in your life, by drawing near to Him. When we do that, He will give us strategies to remove the enemy from our land.

Visualising The Kingdom
Our soul (mind, will, emotion) is the bridge to the spirit realm. Use your sanctified imagination when reading scripture, visualise the passage your are reading. Focus on it, let it become a reality to you. See yourself in Heaven’s court, giving your worship to Him, every time you praise Him, see Him.

Stop for a moment in your day (not just once) and focused of His Kingdom. Bring your reality back to His. When the enemy comes against you, remember it’s not people, it is spiritual power. Don’t allow the enemy to pull you into a physical realm, when the fight is a spiritual one.

Why is there so much evil in our country? They are afraid and desperate. They are worried you might become a threat to them and are doing everything they can to stop you. The enemy does not want you to mature, and manifest the Kingdom of God where ever you walk. Don’t let them stop you, press into the Kingdom of God. You can see the evil rising, it’s your calling to resist it – there is no time left to sit on the side lines. Get into the battle.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.

When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.

Theres nothing thats too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
