Jesus came to take all our sins and we are forever forgiven, we only need to believe this fact. Let me say it again Jesus came to take the punishment we deserve, because of Him our sins are forgiven. We are FORGIVEN.
I remind myself daily, as we all should that our past is forgiven and we should strive to be more like Jesus everyday. Some days are harder than others but I always pray for the strength, knowledge and wisdom to be better and bring others to The Lord
That Prayer goes something like this, won’t you join me today
Father
Thankfully you have given me new life and are lighting my way. I pray Lord that you continue to guide me as it’s your will not mine. Continue to give me the knowledge and wisdom to do what you want of me and the strength to defend my faith when required. God I pray this in the name of your son Jesus Christ
