- OUR ROLE AND FUNCTIONS AS THE WARRIOR BRIDE OF CHRIST
A Prince with God with Kingdom Authority from God
God rules the entire cosmos through his household of sons and daughters who are his “PRINCES.”
We must understand this concept of co-ruling, just as man was given the ability to be co-creator through procreation – this is part of the faculty of being made in the “image and likeness of God (God-like abilities).”Humans work as GOD‘S IMAGERS—that they work in the capacity of GOD‘S REPRESENTATIVES in His government in the earth.
The image is therefore not a thing put in us; it is something we do or are. It is not a thing; it is a function or status. Humans were created to rule and care for the earth as God would if he were physically present. It is as though we are Him when it comes to overseeing His earth. This duty is part of being human. This is why Genesis 1:26-27 are followed by what theologians call the “Dominion Mandate” — that humans are now to “SUBDUE THE EARTH” (1:28). Verse 28 helps define verses 26-27. GOD HAS GIVEN US THE DOMINION AND AUTHORITY TO ENFORCE HIS WILL, HIS GOVERNMENT IN ALL THE EARTH. How we need to powerfully enforce this dominion in the Name of our Lord Jesus.
We must have an understanding of our Warrior Role as the Bride of Christ
We must have an understanding of our warrior role as the Bride of Christ. The Bride of Christ is not a pretty little thing all painted with cosmetics. Lots of artists keep painting wonderful paintings of a girl dressed up in beautiful white dress and a lovely long gown. The word of God says that the Bride of Christ is an ‘EZER’, and the word ezer is used in the first time in Genesis 1. When God said, “Oh, Adam looks very lonely, he needs a helpmate,” He used the word ezer. And helpmate doesn’t mean somebody who will do all the dishes at home – somebody who cooks food. EZER IS A MILITARY WORD. When the commanders go to war, they want an assistant, and that assistant to the commander is called ezer. He is the HELPMATE TO THE COMMANDER.
YOU ARE A WARRIOR BRIDE. The Bible gives us a vision of Christ coming with flames of fire in His eyes and a sword in his mouth, riding on a white horse with a crown on His head. He’s the Commander of the entire heavenly host and you, the Bride of Christ is the ezer. Your job is warfare. Your job is not cooking food. Now don’t tell your husband when he comes back home, “There’s no food for you because I had been doing spiritual warfare the whole day.” It doesn’t mean that. But it does mean that you are the warrior Bride of Christ. You have a double role – you are a wife to your husband, but you are a Warrior Bride, helpmate to the Lord. The same with the men, you also have a double role. You’re a husband to your wife, a father to your children, but you’re a warrior to the Lord.
II. WE’RE GOING TO SEE WARFARE, AN INTENSE SPIRITUAL WARFARE
We must have a new vision of the Lord in these end-times as the WARRIOR KING. [by Prophet Robert Misst]- I came into Chennai on the 9th of September, 2011. While was fasting for 21 days, the Lord Jesus came into my room on a white horse. Now you will try to think how can a white horse fit into a hotel room? But it fit; we’re in the supernatural. He was on the horse and He had a crown on his head and He had a sword in his mouth, and His eyes were flames of fire. When I looked at His face, I could not see it; I just bent my head to the ground. And He said, “Look at my face!” So very slowly and carefully I Iooked up and He said, “Look at My eyes.” And so I stared into those flaming fire coming from His eyes.
The moment I did this, I was taken in time and space in the spirit, and I was before the Burning Bush with Moses standing there. And Moses said this to me, and that’s why I’m reading it out to you. He said, “Let my people know that they must stand before the Lord at the Burning Bush and know that I am who I am. He will transform you into a history maker, a time-changer.” He said you are not alone in this vision. All the saints in heaven run with you in this vision. But you must have this vision of the Lord on his white horse as your vision to take you into the future. You will find this vision in Revelation 19:11-15. All of the invisible world that is in the heavens, both the angels, the saints and the fallen angels, they see Jesus in the same vision now.
Get prepared for battle
What do you think is going to happen when they see Jesus like that? Can you even guess? When the angels see the Lord that He is dressed for battle, THEY GET PREPARED FOR BATTLE TOO, right? So they will be ready for battle. They will do everything that the Lord wants them to do for all of you down on the earth. They have been listening constantly that heaven and earth are coming together closer and closer. They are going to prepare us for this intense time on the earth. We must allow the Lord to prepare and train us for this great battle coming.
And the powers of darkness also know they have a very short time to remain as lords wherever they are. They all rule over different nations, over different tribes, over different cultures – they rule as kings! If you remember in Luke 4 when Jesus was fasting for forty days and nights and He was taken by the devil up the high mountain? So what did the devil show Jesus there? He showed him all the kingdoms of the world. And what did he tell Him? So the devil showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the earth, and he told Jesus, “If you worship me, I will give you these kingdoms.”
So all the kingdoms belong to whom? To the powers of darkness, and JESUS, TOGETHER WITH HIS SAINTS, IS COMING TO TAKE THE EARTH BACK TO HIM. So what’s going to happen? THERE’S GOING TO BE WARFARE in retaking planet earth from Satan. So when you see Jesus sitting on His white horse, a sword in His mouth and His eyes like flaming fire and a crown on His head and He’s got a robe that is dipped in blood, we’re going to see warfare, an intense spiritual warfare.
