Consistency
Psalm 119:33 (NKJV) Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes,
And I shall keep it to the end.
Many people who grew up in a Christian home had certain habits instilled in them from a young age. For example they may have had a bed time ritual that they have never left. like brushing their teeth and reading their bible right before bed. Even as people get older and go into business or different jobs many retain these bed time rituals. They don’t abandon the habits formed as children. Psalm 119 is a good starting point to form a habit from, Learn what God has for you and His ways, and hold onto them until the very end.
Perhaps the most important aspect of bible study is consistency. Its better to study a little of God’s word each day than to try and absorb lots of the bible in random study at random times.
Find a pattern that works for you, and then stick with it.
Brush your teeth and read your bible everyday
