Today we are going to talk about, Keeping your eye on the prize.

Because obedience has its challenges, its the less travelled path.
Disobedience, on the other hand, is the more well worn way.

In fact, it is characterised by gridlock!
Why?

Because its the easy way out. Its the road we ware tempted to take when things get a bit sticky or uncomfortable.

Its the path of least resistance, and sadly, its the path that make us men and women of little or no positive impact.

As you run the race for Christ, you will face hurdles that trip you up, knock you down, or pressure you to compromise God’s standards.

Thats why Paul urges you to “press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Jesus Christ”

If you keep your eye on the prize at the finish line, you’ll have what it takes to overcome life challenges.

Ask God today that instead of sneaking around the hurdles life on the path of least resistance, that He help you sail over the challenges on the high road of obedience.

Until tomorrow
